About our Club

The use of the lake is shared between two clubs, the Bluebird Deaf Water Ski Club and ourselves.

The Norwich Water Ski Club ski on: - Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and alternate Tuesdays.

Through the summer months the clubs operates a driver’s rota on a Sunday to ensure that there is always a boat driver at the club between 10am and 4pm. Week day ski times are usually from the end of the working day - as we are a member’s club with no paid staff we are dependent on driver’s availability. It is always a good idea to call the club house before you leave home just to check that the club is open.

Some of our ski time is used for private hire days where we rent out the lake and facilities for a day/half day or evening to groups of people for their own exclusive use. If you would like more information regarding this please contact any of the committee members on the Contact Us page.

The club house has a fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Outside tables and chairs are available for use together with the use of a gas barbecue for those lovely long summer days and evenings. There are men’s and ladies changing rooms with showers and separate toilets and an indoor seating area with TV and WiFi connection.

Boat and Ski Equipment

We operate  tournament ski boats with the latest GPS timing, currently Zero Off, and we have a high pole for boarders and a training bar for beginners. There are a selection of wet suits in various sizes, life jackets, skis and wakeboards available for use although we would recommend that you eventually purchase your own equipment.  The club has UKCC qualified ski coaches and with many of our members competing in national and international competitions there is never any shortage of expert help and coaching.

Come and Have-A-Go

Why not come and give water skiing or wakeboarding a go. We accept non-members so you can learn our exciting sport and have some fun. All equipment and instruction is provided.
